So my family loves pancakes. Instant pancakes. Like, just add water pancakes. My husbands specialty and the kids love them!! But I have never really joined the pancake band wagon as they often left me feeling bloated and regretting the empty calories. These 3 Ingredient Banana Crepes are… well… simply amazing. I had heard about “banana pancakes” but never given them a try before this year. I am a pancake convert now.. let me tell you! You have got to try these…
This is a simple, real food recipe which I absolutely love!! I have used the basic banana pancake recipe but used a blender to really whip the ingredients until ultra smooth to make these crepes.
The batter is simply poured onto a hot, greased pan. Just like traditional pancakes wait until the bubbles on top pop to flip the crepes. This recipe makes two delicious, golden crepes.
3 Ingredient Banana Crepes
Ingredients
- 1 medium, ripe banana
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Place the ingredients into a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour half the batter onto a hot, greased pan.
- Flip when bubbles pop.
- Repeat for the second crepe.
- Serve with fresh fruit salsa.
Serve with this fresh fruit salsa, honey, pure maple syrup or whipping cream.
Enjoy!
I was super excited about this recipe. But was sorely disappointed. I could not get them to work as thin crepes at all…fell apart. So I thought, I’d make them as small pancakes. First two worked ok, but now they are all falling apart when flipped. And I have leave leave them so long before flipping that they appear burned. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
Sorry they’re not working for you! Not sure what’s going on..
