Hello, hello! Today I am sharing these adorable 3D Pool Party invitations with you. We recently threw our first ever pool party and had an absolute blast! So many kids, so many laughs and so many water balloons all popped within seconds! The boys created these invitations using a decorating kit from DohVinci and presented them to friends at school. Both the invitations and the party were a huge hit!
Here is how to create your own 3D Pool Party invitations.

The DohVinci styler and deco pop colors are super easy to use! Just take the cap off of the color that you want to use and insert it into the styler. Then gently squeeze the 3D deco pop out and onto your project. Play-Doh has made DohVinci for older children who are no longer into building with soft clay. Now they can decorate all sorts of projects using these design kits! I know that our seven year old boys LOVE playing with DohVinci and I’m pretty happy because it is not as messy as Play-Doh (which was always an “at Nana’s House” activity).
The deco pop can be used to create all sorts of fun shapes and designs. We used it to create a bright beach ball image for our invitations. The 3D surface dries in about an hour and is left firm to the touch. Be sure to follow Twin Dragonfly Designs on Instagram for a fun time lapse video of our beach ball creation!
After our work was dry the boys added party details to the invitation. We had a huge turn out, larger than expected, because everyone who was invited, showed up! That never happens! LOL At one point during the party we had 12 kids in the pool – it was so fun to watch! And throw water balloons at *wink*
How would you use DohVinci?!
