A Succulent Wreath for Spring

It’s beginning to look a lot like spring!  Well… maybe not the ground with our recent snow fall here.  But at least my front door is looking spring-like with the addition of this gorgeous succulent wreath.  I love the fresh greenery and pops of pink on this simple wreath.  Let me show you how to create your own Succulent Wreath for Spring!

This wreath is a super easy project that truly anyone can create.  The grapevine base gives this wreath a classic feel and may even be something that you already have lying around the house.  I love the look of these succulents and the best part?!  You can’t kill them!  lol  So this Spring Succulent Wreath should survive for years to come.  That’s a huge win in my opinion.

I love the visual interest that these succulents give a traditional grape vine wreath.  Paired with pops of pink flowers and embellished with a little bike, this is a unique take on a more traditional spring wreath.

Materials:

Grape vine wreath

Faux succulent plants of various shapes and sizes

Faux pink flowers and tiny pink bike (I found these ones at Michaels)

Hot glue gun and glue

4″ floral wire for hanging

I also picked up some faux greenery to give the wreath more dimension and colour.

Directions:

  1. Place faux succulents on the grape vine wreath.
  2. Play with layering and placement of items until you create a layout that appeals to you.
  3. Cut stems and use the hot glue to affix the greenery into place.
  4. Hang with a string or wire.

Half of the fun is placing and playing with all of the greenery and flowers until you come up with a design that you like.  I often start by layering the larger plants at the back and filling in with the smaller flowers and leaves.  This wreath would also look super cute with a little sign or bunting hanging in the centre!
