Let me show you how to make this cute apple block teacher gift!
As our kids head back to school this week {can I get a big Whoop! Whoop?!} I have been thinking a lot about our teachers and how absolutely grateful we are for everything that they do. Every day is a good day to give our teachers a gift of appreciation. With just a few supplies, that are often found around the house, you can make one of these super cute Apple Block Teacher Gifts!
How to make an apple block teacher gift:
Supplies:
Wooden alphabet blocks
Acrylic paint
Paint brush
Green cardstock
Green push pin
Hot glue gun and glue
Directions:
- Begin by finding a wooden alphabet block or two. I picked these up at the thrift store but dig through the kids toy boxes and you may have a few laying around.
2. Paint the blocks red. I used acrylic paint and a varathane gloss sealer.
3. Cut leaves out of green card stock.
4. Use a stylus embossing tool to embellish the leaves (optional).
Attach two leaves to the top of a block with a green thumb tack and you are done!
Simply adorable.
I absolutely love how these little apple blocks turned out! I couldn’t stop with just them and made these Reindeer Blocks, Fankenstein Blocks, Snowman Blocks, and Turkey Blocks too. It would be fun to find the first letter of someones name and make them a personalized block. With just a little paint and creativity the sky is the limit!
Some crafting essentials for kids:

- These paint brushes (aff link) are ideal for most craft surfaces and a great price!
- This art supplies kit (aff link) is our favorite because it has everything we needed to get started.
