And here you thought that I was done canning!

I wish.
We picked and were given lots and lots of plums. Some of them I pitted, halved and threw in the freezer.
Others I made into plum jam.
I followed the directions on my pectin package and chopped up my pitted plums.
Then I added pectin, sugar and water.
The mixture simmered for awhile until it became a jam-like consistency.
Finally I poured the jam into warm, sterilized jars and processed them.
I can’t wait to put all of this canning together into Christmas gift baskets!
