Yes, the butter and sugar mixture will leak out when baked – I just pull the parchment paper out from under the tree – I’ll update the post to clarify :) Thanks for the feedback!

Made this as practice for Christmas morning it wasn’t what I had hoped. I would recommend unsalted butter, for one. Our whole family felt the aftertaste was saltier than we’d prefer. And my cinnamon mixture leaked out all over my pan – does that mean too much butter? Love the idea but I think we’re going with something else for our Christmas morning dish.
