In the midst of switching platforms from blogger to wordpress last year and rebranding…. just about everything… I forgot to share the new business cards that I had made. I used these cute square business cards last summer and fall during craft fair season when I was a vendor at a few local fairs and attended a small social networking conference. So if you are joining me at SNAP (a creative blogger conference in UT) this month don’t expect to see these cards – I have new “top secret” ones that I will be sharing next week, after SNAP! So excited!!
I had these printed by MOO and absolutely love the high quality! They feel heavy duty and even came with a custom colored edge which is a great way to make your business card stand out! Well, that and that they are square. I am all about different shapes and textures to make your card stand out amongst the hundreds of cards that are distributed at conferences! I created my own design using PicMonkey…
I have a jpg saved on my computer as “blank”. It’s just a white jpg that I can upload to easily edit. So I uploaded that to PicMonkey, cropped it to a square shape and changed the canvas color to teal under “Basic Edits”.
Next I selected the bokeh affect under “Textures” and played with the size a bit.
Then I went to “Overlays” and added my own logo.
Finally I resized the logo to fit nicely and saved this image for the front of my new card.
They turned out even better than I expected! I would recommend printing with Moo every time, the quality is top notch! Stay tuned for my latest TOTALLY UNIQUE business card design..
