I tried making this and the fire did not come out this good with the template provided. The template is hand drawn and are not straight. The oval and the circles are not a good shape. I wish the template shapes were more accurate and straight. I wasted a lot of felt for nothing!

In reply to Donna Burkle. Never mind, I think I figured out the log part, but are the square x 10 and the oval x 10 the rocks and do you sew two together to make one rock? Why do you only make tan x 4 when you make 3 logs? Wouldn't that mean x 6? Sorry to ask so many questions, I am just not understanding. Thank You so much! Donna

Hi Heather,
Forgive me, but I am confused. The logs say cut 10, but only cut 4 tan. Wouldn’t you double the tan to put on all the logs? Is there supposed to be 10 logs? Thanks, Donna
