In reply to Danielle B. You would use 1050g total of chocolate chips if not using bakers chocolate - you may want to add a teaspoon of coconut oil because chocolate chips do not melt the same way bakers chocolate does :)

It is mentioned in a different comment that you could use chocolate chips instead of bakers chocolate. Bakers chocolate is very expensive so I would like to try using the chocolate chips in place of the bakers chocolate. Would it be 16 oz of chocolate chips? Meaning, 16 oz bakers chocolate equals 16 oz of chocolate chips?

Sounds delicious and I love the idea of packaging them up in holiday bags for gifts! Just to clarify on the chocolate, the recipe calls for semisweet bakers chocolate and semisweet chips. Is there a texture difference making it this way? I wonder if I could use all of one or the other?

Question about the 450 grams of chocolate almond bark you’ve converted to 16 oz of bakers chocolate. Chocolate almond bark and bakers chocolate are two very different things. Almond bark is sweet, while bakers chocolate can be bitter sweet or semi-sweet. Wondering what your recommendation is here, since there are also semi-sweet chocolate chips included. I don’t want these to be too sweet. Thanks in advance!
