TIPS FOR MAKING THESE REINDEER REESES:

  • Lay the chocolate covered treat on a cookie tray for easy moving and transporting before serving.
  • These treats are best served and stored on a flat surface as they tend to break when stored in a bag or bowl.
  • Regular reeses peanut butter cups work just as well.
  • Store these yummy treats in a large freezer bag or airtight container for up to a week at room temperature. They can also be stored in the freezer for up to three months.

More Christmas Treat Tips:

  • Use red hots or any other red candy for the red noses instead of m&ms.
  • Mini pretzels, pretzel sticks or pretzel rods could be used for antlers.
  • Use white candy melts, chocolate candy melts or a dot of frosting to stick features to the cookies.
