My SIL calls this DANGER. Maybe because it. is. so. good. that it is a danger to any diet that we’ve been on or are planning on going on. But what the heck!?! It’s Christmas right? Let’s indulge a little!
The goods:
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
40 soda crackers
1 pkg milk chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Wrap a cookie sheet in tinfoil. Lay crackers evenly onto the cookie sheet. {I doubled my batch ~ the ingredients will make one cookie sheet full of Danger}.
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine butter and sugar until they boil. Remove from heat and pour evenly over crackers.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Immediately sprinkle the entire package of chocolate chips over the entire cookie sheet while it is still hot.
I make this too. In my family we call it Christmas Crack-because you can’t stop eating it.
