I’d like to introduce you to one of the first Monster Murals that I have created for the boys’ birthday… Ike! You can find more of my murals here and here.
Invest in a roll of paper ~ you wont regret it ~ you can find cheap roll ends at most newpaper offices.
I start with a quick pencil sketch {I’ll often pull up images from Bing for inspiration}
Then I begin to add colour to my image.
Linking to these fab parties!
Your monsters are very cute! I agree a roll of paper is really useful. Another thing you might try is painting them on a piece of canvas or drop cloth with a bit of textile medium mixed in. That way when your done with the mural you can back it with another piece of canvas and make it into a pillow they can save. Your designs are too cute to throw away!!
I love the pictures of your boys kissing them. My twin boys are 15 now – I miss those moments sometimes…they grow up too fast :)
Cool! Thanks for linking up to Mad Skills Monday!
Those are cool! My son would love a monster like that. My daughter wouldn’t:)
Those are so cute! What a good idea to do it with paper and then attach it to the wall! :) What do you use to attach it to your wall?
How fun is this!!! So creative indeed! :D I’m happy to be your newest follower of your delightful blog and I’d love to have you as a friend at Frou Frou Decor! I’d also like to invite you to link your sweet creations up at my link party each Friday! Hope to see you there!!
Hugs,
