Supplies:
- Construction paper (red, green, orange, yellow, blue)
- Paper plate
- Acrylic paint, black
- Paint brush
- Scissors
- Glitter
- Glue stick
- Double sided tape
How to make paper plate fireworks!
Directions:
1. Gather all materials.
2. Paint the paper plate black. This step can be skipped if you happen to purchase black paper plates.
3. Allow the paper plate to dry completely.
4. Cut various sized circles from the colored construction paper.
5. Fold the circles into quarters and cut strips almost to the center but not going through.
6. Unfold the circles. These create the “fireworks”.
7. Use the glue stick to add glitter to the black plate before sticking the fireworks to it with double sided tape or glue.
8. Hang with a string or display on the fridge or bulletin board.
