Are your little ones out of school already? We still have a month to go before Summer Break here but the temperatures, they are a-rising. We have been heading out to parks and playgrounds for play dates with friends and we are having so much fun!!! I love to pack snacks for our guys and today I am sharing a cute, patriotic way to do it. And a super yummy fruit dip recipe…
Planning patriotic snacks was simple. I used this blue vegetable tray and filled it with all kinds of red, white and blue goodies. We have bananas, watermelon, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, yogurt covered pretzels and yogurt covered raisins. A quick tip for cut bananas: after cutting, dip them in orange juice {or lemon juice} to help prevent browning.
Now if you are Canadian like we are you can ditch the blueberries and add this yummy fruit dip for a red and white fruit platter.
This is our absolute favorite Fruit Dip Recipe. Combine the following:
1 tub of Cool Whip
1 pkg vanilla instant pudding {prepared}
add an ounce or two of Kahlua for an adult version
Whip together and keep refrigerated until ready to use.
Simple right? And oh so good!
Do you have any favorite play date snacks?
