Shirt #1
First I drew and cut out a stencil. Then I ironed heat n bond to my patterned fabric and cut out my tie shape.
I pealed the back off of the hnb and ironed my tie to the front of the shirt.
Then I zig zag stitched all the way around the tie. Details later… next shirt….
Shirt #2
I traced my tie stencil onto the back of my patterned fabric. Then I pinned the right side of my patterned fabric to the inside of the front of my shirt.
I sewed a straight stitch along my traced tie and trimmed off excess fabric.
Then I carefully cut out the white portion of my tie, being sure not to cut through the patterned material.
Love this! I want to make some for my little guy! Thanks for sharing.
