Welcome friends!
We continue our series today with the Shell Stitch.
This is a great way to add interest to a crochet project without getting too complicated.
A shell stitch will call for a number of stitches {usually 3-5} to go into the same stitch to create a shell shape. Here we have three double crochet in one stitch.
Now we have skipped a stitch and placed three double crochet in the next stitch. You can see as you continue down the row that a lovely pattern would be created. Here is an example of a finished shell stitch beanie.
