If you’ve been around awhile then you know that we love camping. Heck, we had our very own indoor camp out back in January just because we missed it so much! So I wanted to create something for the boys to wear. To help celebrate the season. Bring on summer!
Materials
Plain t-shirt {pre-shrunk}
Piece of white fabric and iron on interfacing
Tulip fabric markers
Tulip dimensional fabric paint {puffy paint}
Tulip soft fabric paint
Freezer paper
Then I filled in the stencil using Tulip soft fabric paint. I needed about three coats of white paint on this navy t-shirt.
I allowed both the smore guys and the stencilled letters to dry completely before pinning the white fabric to the t-shirt.
Using a 1/8 inch seam, I attached the cartoon image to the t-shirt.
Looks like these boys need s’more smores please!
And a perfect photo op!
If I could create these again I would make the white rectangle of fabric about 1/2 inch smaller all the way around but that’s about it. Seriously fun t-shirts that are totally us.
TOO cute, Heather! The boys look adorable in their shirts. Great job! Thanks for entering One Crafty Contest; good luck!
