So here’s the cute top. My sister-in-law asked me if I could do anything with it. Back in June.
This was the problem. Stains. Real, tried everything, stains.
and found some coordinating fabric. Too small PJs. Perfect. :P
Using a reverse applique technique, I sewed my patterned fabric to the t-shirt.
You can find more examples of this technique here and here.
One super cute t-shirt off of the “to do” list. Check.
Hooking up with Refashionista Week. Check.
Ohhhh….I like it!
Very cute! :)

THAT IS AWESOME!! I love it! I’m shipping you a box full of stained clothes! :)
you totally ROCKED it!!! Can you make me one please?!
Awesome! I love doing reverse applique’s but have yet to venture out of the box I’m in with it (just doing it on my daughter’s stuff). This turned out so cool that I might just have to try it on something of mine. Oh yeah!

I love this shirt. I have done a similar reverse applique shirt and it is one of my favorites. I really like the pattern on the onesie, too. I will have to think along the lines of patterns next time. Thanks for sharing!
I love this! Very cute. THanks for linking to Fantabulous Friday!

Adorable!!! I think I might be scared of my sewing machine.. it gives me dirty looks when I walk past it. I think it likes being tucked in the corner of the craft room. I might have to break it free for this. Following you.. hope you come for a visit and follow me.
Very cute! Great job on this. I’m featuring you for this week’s Friday Favorites! Thanks for linking up!
This is super cute! I love the reverse technique. I am going to have to try it out.
Found you through CSI link-up, if you have a moment check out my blog at https://creativecowgirl.co
What a fabulous idea! I love how it turned out, great job!
Absolutely fantastic!Great use of old clothes.
I would love if you came and linked this project to my clothes upcycling page. It has a long term linky, so your project would stay there for more than just the week of a usual linky. We have over 60 projects linked up now – some fantastic ideas – and this month I’m upcycling lots of clothes and trying to feature lots of the links too!
Do come and take a look!
