Hi everyone! I originally shared this over at 733 last month but thought I would post it here too just in case you missed it.
My boys are often a source of inspiration for me. We were running late one day so when we loaded everyone into the van they hadn’t had time to put their socks or shoes on yet. So I handed the boys their socks and when I turned around next they both had them on their hands and were having an impromptu puppet show. Cameron asked “mommy, can you make us superhero puppets?” And the idea was born.

Here’s what you need to do to create your own Superhero Sock Puppets…
1. Gather your supplies. We used some socks from the dollar store and Tulip fabric paint.
2. Pull the sock over an empty cup to make it easier to paint on.
3. Paint a superhero image onto the sock. I free handed these Spiderman and Ironman faces. Allow the paint to dry before removing the sock from the cup.
Here are our finished Superhero Sock Puppets.
All ready for play time…
with boys!
