How to Make Valentine Gift Tags

These Valentine Gift Tags are perfect for all of your gift giving this season!  Just attach a cute tag to a bottle of wine, bouquet of flowers or box of chocolates and you are set.  And all you need are a few simple supplies…

I absolutely love the way that these adorable valentine gift tags turned out and can’t wait to show you how to make a few of your own!

Materials needed:

  • craft paper tags
  • washi tape
  • scrap felt
  • cotton material
  • bakers twine
  • sewing machine
  • glue

How to make these valentine gift tags:

  1. Begin by cutting small heart shapes out of felt material (approximately 1″ in size).  Cut smaller hearts out of the cotton material.  I like the contrast of pink and blue colors!

2. Sew the cotton hearts to the felt hearts.

3. Embellish each tag with a strip of washi tape and glue a felt heart to each one.  Have fun experimenting with different colors and textures!

4. Finally attach a tag to your gift with bakers twine and you are all set!  Simply beautiful.  I love to have a stash of tags and cards at home for quick gift giving!
