Tin Foil Packet Nacho Dip

This tinfoil packet nacho dip is perfect for serving to a crowd while camping.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked ground beef
  • 1/2 cup refried beans
  • 1 cup tex mex shredded cheddar cheese
  • 250 ml container of guacamole
  • 1 cup salsa we use homemade salsa
  • Green onions or chives diced
  • Sour cream for topping
  • 1 bag tortilla chips

Instructions

  • Double layer two large pieces of tinfoil appox. 12"x14".
  • Layer beans, beef, cheese, guacamole and salsa.
  • Wrap in tinfoil, rolling ends tightly together creating a packet.
  • Place in the fire near the hot coals but not directly in the fire.
  • Allow to heat through and cook in the fire for about 15 minutes.
  • Top with sour cream and chives.
  • Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
