Ingredients

  • salted almonds
  • mennonite sausage sliced
  • almond flour crackers
  • small pickles
  • smoked gouda cheese cubed
  • swiss cheese sliced
  • chorizzo sliced
  • homemade smoked salmon

Instructions

  • 1. Select a large rectangular platter, tray or wood bread board.  This tree shaped cutting board with cheese knives would make a great serving board.
  • 2. Lay various ingredients on the board from bottom to top. Create wider lines at the bottom, working each row a bit smaller towards the top to create a triangle tree shape.
  • 3. Begin with crackers, then mennonite sausage, swiss cheese, chorizzo, pickles and cubed cheese.
  • Tip: Be sure to keep wet ingredients like pickles apart from things like crackers.
  • 4. Add the smoked salmon and almonds to the remaining space at the top of the tree.
  • 5. Finally, use a star shape to adorn the top of the tree.
