Materials

  • rolling pin
  • parchment paper
  • baking sheet
  • white polymer clay
  • red polymer clay
  • brown polymer clay
  • green polymer clay
  • cutting and piercing tool
  • bakers twine

Instructions

  • 1. Roll red polymer clay into balls about 1/2″ in diameter. Tip: Wash your hands before switching clay colors so that the red color doesn’t transfer to the white clay.
  • 2. Roll white clay into ropes and stack two layers together to form a “lid”. Roll brown clay out 1/8″ flat and cut into strips, place a small green circle of clay in the center of the brown strip.
  • 3. Form the red balls into tapered rectangle shapes to resemble a Starbucks cup.
  • 4. Place the white lid at the top of the red cup.
  • 5. Add the brown and green label to the front of the cup.
  • 6.  Pierce a hole in the top of the cup for hanging.
  • 7. Place the clay in the oven and bake as directed on the package.  Different clay has different baking temperatures and times.
  • 8. String with bakers twine for hanging.
