These DIY Zombie Costumes are beyond amazing! My friend Amy is super creative and her whole family dresses up as Zombies every year. Check out this years photo shoot…
She goes all out for her kids birthdays and always has fun, fabulous ideas when I am in a bind.
Amy’s absolute, favorite holiday is Halloween. She and her husband Mike have epic celebrations every year!
Their house is THE HOUSE to see on halloween ~ picture a cemetary, fog machines and freaky manniquins. And they often host an Epic Halloween Party for friends where Mike covers the entire inside of their house with faux brick walls, all of the everyday decor comes down and Halloween photos and props go up.
It’s awesome! We make a great team because she is all over Halloween and I love, love, love Christmas. A match made in heaven. :)
So when Amy told me that her family was planning on going to the annual Zombie Walk this year I just had to pull out the camera for an epic zombie photo shoot.
Zombie Photo Shoot 2013:
Planning starts weeks in advance creating props and costumes. They began the day of the event by getting in costume and applying makeup.
This is Mike who was to become a zombie from the movie Fido.
Amy transformed into a zombie from the Walking Dead series.
Amy’s sister, Kristina decided to become a zombie wildling from the show Game of Thrones.
They made the coolest props to perfect their looks. Kristina made this decapitated head.
And a three eyed crow.
Amy created seriously creepy cut off arms.
And a sign from Fido.
Here are the girls finishing up makeup and perfecting their looks.
Mike as a zombie from Fido.
Amy as a zombie from the Walking Dead.
Kristina as a zombie wildling from the Game of Thrones.
These make perfect halloween costumes from some of our favorite movies and tv shows! I love how Amy makes creating a homemade zombie costume look easy.
