There is just something about the cold winter weather that has me wanting to crochet all the time! Sitting by the crackling fire with a cup of tea and a lap full of crochet, simply lovely! If you are looking for a quick, easy and beautiful crochet pattern then look no further! This FREE crochet headband pattern is one of my all-time favorites and always sells well on etsy or at craft fairs. If you would like to make the flower embellishment as well, be sure to check out my crochet flower tutorial.
Here I used Vanna’s Choice yarn from Michaels in Barley and Oatmeal. My gorgeous sister, Alicia, is my headband model!
Hook size: J / 6.0mm
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
Adding one of these crochet flowers really finished off the headband nicely. I have shared the crochet flower tutorial, I promise that it is very simple to follow! I love the addition of buttons and ribbon, both of which I use a bit of hot glue to fasten to the flower. I also glue a safety pin to the back of the flower so that it can be easily fastened to the headband and removed as needed.
Have you made one of these headbands yet? If you have, please share! I would love to see it!
