Recipe Notes
- You can use your preferred variety of mushrooms for this recipe, such as cremini mushrooms (also called baby bellas) or portobello mushrooms.
- Feel free to adjust the seasonings according to your taste preferences. You can add more or less garlic, salt, pepper, or parsley to suit your liking. You could also include things like garlic powder, soy sauce, fresh herbs, or Worcestershire sauce.
- Top your mushrooms with garlic butter or Parmesan cheese for an extra burst of flavor.
- While the avocado oil adds flavor and helps the seasonings adhere to the mushrooms, you can omit it if desired. Just note that the mushrooms may not have the same level of flavor and crispiness without the oil.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat them in the air fryer or on the stovetop before serving.
- To get the longest life out of your mushrooms, the best storage solution is to wrap them in paper towel, place them in a bowl or paper bag, and keep them in the fridge.
