Halloween Party Use
When I was a coordinator for the Boys and Girls Club we would put on this epic Haunted House for the community. Staff and volunteers would create elaborate scenes, mazes and rooms full of crafts and activities. It was a great way to get the neighborhood kids to bring the whole family to a fun halloween party.
We would all dress up and step into our roles as Halloween characters to give the kids a good scare. But that often left no one to hand out the treats and candy at the dessert table. An unsupervised bowl of candy can be risky business.
That’s where these printable posters come in! We would simply print them off, put them in a picture frame and leave them on the table where kids (and parents) could help themselves to a treat. These trick or treat sign printables are a good idea to have on hand during spooky season!

Essentials for Printable Projects
- We love using this Canon Wireless Printer for perfect printing every time.
- These duotang folders are ideal for creating activity books.
- This Scotch Thermal Laminator is the one we use and it works great.
- These stackable storage containers are awesome for keeping everything organized.
At Home Use
These Halloween signs are also great for at home use. My boys were born in October and we came home from the hospital on Halloween day. Sadly I could’t run up and down the stairs to hand out candy and I remember turning off all of the lights and creating a hand written note to tape on the door for anyone who might stop by.
Placing one of these printable trick or treat signs on the front porch with a halloween candy bowl would have been an easy way to navigate the situation. I wish I had this digital file back then.
We’ve had experiences where older kids would take the whole bowl rather than one piece of candy. Putting this on the front step with a basket of candy might help prevent that in the future. It’s a quick and easy, last minute welcome sign that can be printed on regular printer paper
Each printable sign can easily be downloaded by right clicking on the image and selecting “save”. Or scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your email in the form to receive the downloadable PDF file. The free digital printable file is for personal use only.

Thank you for the printable. It’s super cute – not sure if you noticed that Ghouls is misspelled. I used it anyway! :)
