Ingredients
- salted almonds
- almond flour crackers
- smoked gouda cheese, sliced
- swiss cheese, sliced
- chorizzo, sliced
- cheddar cheese, sliced
- pepperoni, sliced
- pear, cut in half
- pecans
- candy eyes
- grapes
Tip: a round charcuterie board works well to help create the turkey shape but any shape would work!
Instructions
1. Cut the pear in half to create a turkey body shape.
2. Place the pear at the bottom center of the board.
3. Lay various ingredients in a semi circle on the board from top to bottom.
4. Begin with crackers, swiss cheese and pepperoni.
5. Add rows of cheddar cheese, chorizzo and almonds.
6. Finish with pecan feet, an almond nose and candy eyes.
Optional: add grapes or other fruit as desired.
The layers of meat and cheese create a tail feather look to this turkey board. If you are using a square platter, simply create an arc shape around the pear body.
You could use all kinds of things to make the turkey feathers! Try adding pretzels, vegetables, fruit, or different meats and cheese.
Other Charcuterie Turkey Ideas
- green olives
- fresh rosemary
- blue cheese
- fresh cranberries
- pretzels sticks
- pickles
- cherry tomatoes
- black olives
- white cheddar
- blue berries
