Ingredients

  • ¾ cup parmesan cheese shredded
  • 1 medium white onion finely sliced into rounds
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil optional
  • tsp Italian seasoning optional

For a pizza twist, add:

  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 10 slices pepperoni

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice entire onion very thinly. Use a mandolin if you have one.
  • Spread the cheese out evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Layer the onion slices on top.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning if desired.
  • If going for the pizza version, add mozzarella and pepperoni slices to the top.
  • Bake in the oven for 35-45 minutes or until the cheese is golden and crispy.
