Ingredients

  • 1 can Pillsbury pizza crust
  • 1/4 cup Primo pizza sauce
  • 200 g Pepperoni sliced
  • 1 cup Mozzarella shredded cheese

Instructions

  • Open the pizza dough and press it into the bottom of the dutch oven.
  • Spread pizza sauce on the dough.
  • Sprinkle generous amounts of Mozzarella cheese over the dough.
  • Top with pepperoni slices and cover with the dutch oven lid.
  • Cook over a low fire for 30-40 minutes or until the dough is baked and the cheese is melty.

Notes

Tip: spray the interior of the oven with non stick spray or line with parchment paper to help prevent sticking. A well seasoned cast iron oven will not need this.
Tip: rotate the dutch oven often and move from open flame. Alternatively this can be baked in a trailer oven or over a BBQ grill
