Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup margarine
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 2 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  • In a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together first six ingredients.
  • Add the remaining dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Drop cookie dough by walnut-sized spoonfuls onto a prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Once baked, transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool.
