2. Brown sausage in a large skillet on medium heat, add onion and cook until translucent.
3. Cut the flaky crescent rolls into 1" slices.
4. In a large bowl, combine egg and milk. Add seasoning of choice.
5. Spray a large 9x13" casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
6. Layer the croissants on the bottom of the pan and top with the sausage mixture, egg mixture and cheese.
7. Give the entire casserole a stir to make sure that all of the bread is coated in the egg mixture and the sausage and cheese is evenly distributed in the baking dish.
8. Bake for 40 - 45 minutes, until the center is firm, cooked through and the croissants are golden brown.
