Buckeye Pretzel Bites Recipe

Sweet, salty, chocolatey Buckeye Pretzel Bites made with peanut butter dough and pretzels. An easy no-bake treat your family will devour!

Ingredients

  • 1 stick of Butter softened
  • 1 cup of Peanut Butter
  • 2 cups of Powdered Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon of Vanilla
  • 2 cups of Pretzels Snaps square
  • ½ lb. of Chocolate Almond Bark

Instructions

  • Start by adding your butter, peanut butter, and vanilla to a large mixing bowl. Cream together with a hand mixer until smooth.
  • Add your powdered sugar, one cup at a time, until it is the consistency of dough.
  • Divide into small balls, about ½ a teaspoon each, and sandwich between two pretzels as shown. Place in the freezer for one hour.
  • Melt down your almond bark. Place it in the microwave, in one minute intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.
  • Dip half of each pretzel bite in chocolate and set on parchment paper to harden.
  • Once set, serve and enjoy! The perfect combination in every bite!

Notes

  • Use pretzel snaps instead of twists — the square shape keeps everything sturdier and neater.
  • Freeze the bites long enough that they’re firm; this helps them stay together during dipping.
  • If the almond bark starts to thicken while you’re dipping, pop it back in the microwave for 15 seconds to smooth it out again.
  • Add a sprinkle of flaky salt on the chocolate before it hardens if you want extra sweet-salty goodness.
  • Store the pretzel bites in an airtight container in the fridge to keep that perfect crunch.
