Spray the interior of the camp cooker with non stick spray.
Carefully open the Phillsbury can and place one cinnamon bun into the camp cooker.
Close and latch the camp cooker
Cook the cinnamon bun over the campfire for about 15 minutes. A small campfire at a low temperature works best so that the dough has time to cook all the way through. Flip and unlatch the camp cooker several times to check for doneness.
Remove the bun from the cooker and top with frosting.
Notes
Warm the pie iron for a minute over the fire before adding your cinnamon roll to help it cook evenly.
Use parchment paper in the cooker for quicker cleanup and less mess.
Don’t place your cooker directly in large flames—hot coals or a small campfire work best.
Add a tiny bit of cream cheese or orange peel to the icing for a fun flavor twist.
Rotate the camp cooker often for an even golden crust all around.
Let the buns cool for a couple minutes before adding icing so it doesn't melt into a puddle.
