Ingredients

  • 24 Tater Tots baked
  • 1 lb. lean ground hamburger
  • 3 slices American cheese cut in 1/4s
  • 12 dill pickle rounds
  • 12 cherry tomatoes or small tomato slices
  • 12 pieces head Lettuce
  • Ketchup and mustard

Instructions

  • Bake tater tots according to package directions. While they are baking, form small patties with your ground beef — about the width of the tots.
  • In a large skillet, cook the patties over medium-high heat until halfway done, then flip.
  • Divide your cheese slices into quarters and, once flipped, top each patty with a piece. Lower the heat and cook until the cheese is melted and the meat is cooked through.
  • Now assemble your mini burger skewers! Stack a tater tot, pickle, tomato, lettuce, cheesy burger patty, and another tater tot onto a toothpick or small skewer.
  • Arrange on a serving plate with ketchup and mustard on the side for dipping.

  • Season your ground beef in a large bowl before cooking for even flavor distribution.
