Pre heat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, mix together the butter, sugar and cinnamon.
Open the can of pizza crust dough and spread it into a long rectangle on a floured surface. Use a pizza cutter to divide dough into two large triangles.
Line a large baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper.
Place a large triangle of pizza dough on the cookie sheet.
Spread the cinnamon mixture over the dough, leaving the edges uncovered.
Place the second dough triangle over the cinnamon layer of the first triangle of dough. Press the edges together.
Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to cut slices into each side of the dough tree about two inches into the tree and one inch apart.
Twist each of these pieces a few times to create breadsticks.
Melt butter and then brush over the entire tree. Add a sprinkle of sugar if desired.
Place the prepared baking sheet into the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top and cooked through on the bottom.
In a small bowl mix powdered sugar and milk to create an icing glaze. Drizzle this over the entire tree shaped baked bread.
Serve warm. Guests can pull each cinnamon stick from the tree as they would like.
