Easter Snack Mix

This easy Easter snack mix is a sweet and salty treat that's totally delicious and simple to make — perfect for parties and holiday baskets!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Chex cereal
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks broken
  • 1 cup Cadbury mini eggs chopped
  • ½ cup mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips
  • 6 oz white chocolate candy melts

Instructions

  • Prepare the ingredients. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.
  • In a medium microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate wafers in 15-second intervals, stirring in between, until it is completely smooth.
  • Spread an even layer of Chex cereal, pretzel sticks, mini marshmallows, and chocolate chips on the lined cookie sheet.
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the cereal mixture.
  • Top with chopped Cadbury mini eggs and optional Easter sprinkles for extra pizzazz.
  • Place in the fridge for about an hour until the chocolate sets.
  • Break the snack mix into bite-sized pieces and serve in individual treat bags or a large bowl.

Notes

  • Use Wilton candy melts for the best results, as it melts the best. Add one teaspoon of coconut oil to other melted chocolate chips to help them melt and pour better.
  • Get the kids involved! This recipes is a fun project for little hands, especially crushing the big Cadbury eggs.
  • Add Easter sprinkles or swap in pastel M&Ms for a colorful twist.
  • Lay your mix on parchment paper for easy moving and transporting before the chocolate has hardened. Trust me, it’s a game changer!
  • Place the chocolate in the fridge or freezer to completely cool before serving. It breaks up much more easily this way.
  • Store your bunny bait in an airtight container at room temperature, or freeze it for longer freshness.
