Ingredients

  • ¾ lb. shrimp peeled and deveined - tails can be left on or removed.
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning - this homemade taco seasoning is also a great option.
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Prepare shrimp, defrosting frozen shrimp if needed.
  • Place in a medium bowl and toss with oil and seasoning.
  • Place seasoned shrimp in the basket of the air fryer, maintaining a single layer. You may need to cook in two batches.
  • Cook at 390 F for 8 minutes, pausing to toss halfway through.

Notes

  • For the best results, use raw shrimp when making this recipe.
  • Pat defrosted shrimp dry with paper towel.
  • To prevent sticking, you may want to spray your air fryer basket with a little bit of non-stick cooking spray.
  • Adjust the flavors according to your tastes. Add different spices or use another seasoning blend. Some great options include garlic powder, onion powder, Cajun seasoning, chili powder, cayenne pepper, lemon pepper seasoning, Old Bay seasoning, and black pepper.
