Ingredients

  • 1 pound of fresh asparagus
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup fresh parmesan cheese grated
  • ½ tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp each salt & black pepper

Instructions

  • Prepare asparagus by washing and breaking off the ends.
  • Place asparagus spears on a sheet of aluminum foil.
  • Top with butter, half the parmesan and S&P.
  • Wrap in foil to create a packet.
  • Cook on the grill grates of the bbq or in the oven at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until fork tender.
  • Carefully open and top with lemon zest, lemon slices and remaining parmesan.
