- 1 pound of fresh asparagus
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
- ¼ cup fresh parmesan cheese grated
- ½ tsp lemon zest
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- ¼ tsp each salt & black pepper

Prepare asparagus by washing and breaking off the ends.
Place asparagus spears on a sheet of aluminum foil.
Top with butter, half the parmesan and S&P.
Wrap in foil to create a packet.
Cook on the grill grates of the bbq or in the oven at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until fork tender.
Carefully open and top with lemon zest, lemon slices and remaining parmesan.
