Start by adding your eggs, eggnog, vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon to a large bowl. Whisk until well combined.
Soak each side of your bread in the egg mixture until well coated.
Heat up your skillet or griddle on medium-low heat. You don’t want to cook your bread too fast and burn it. Grease with butter.
Cook each slice of bread on your well greased skillet, until each side is golden brown, about 5 minutes.
Stack on your serving dish. Dust with powdered sugar if desired. Top with whipped cream and syrup.
