Ingredients

  • 400 g farmer's sausage
  • ½ head of broccoli cut into florets
  • ½ head of cauliflower cut into florets
  • 2 tsp seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • Parmesan cheese grated, for topping

Instructions

  • Slice the sausage and cut up the vegetables.
  • Combine all ingredients, except cheese, into a large freezer-safe plastic bag.
  • Freeze until ready to use (up to three months). Or keep it in the fridge for up to a week.
  • Defrost and cook in a skillet or a tinfoil packet over a campfire or on the BBQ.
  • Cook 10 minutes on medium heat.

Notes

  • When making camping freezer meals, use 1-gallon large freezer bags (affiliate link). Label bags with the date, recipe, and cooking instructions.
  • Lay ingredients flat in the bag for easier storage in the freezer or cooler.
  • Defrost meals in the refrigerator and place into tinfoil packets for cooking on the campfire or BBQ.
  • Store meals for up to three months in the freezer.
