Leftover Halloween Candy Cookie Recipe (Kitchen Sink Cookies)

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ tsp baking soda
  • 2 ½ cups Quaker instant oatmeal
  • ½ cup chocolate chips Milk, semi-sweet, or dark chocolate chips will work.
  • ½ cup Reese's pieces
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • ¼ cup candy corn copped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars together with an electric mixer.
  • Add the remaining wet ingredients and mix well.
  • Next, combine the dry ingredients and add them to the bowl.
  • Mix at low speed until a soft dough forms, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  • Add your favorite mix-ins and combine well.
  • Use a large cookie scoop to form dough balls the size of golf balls.
  • Place the cookie dough balls on the lined baking sheet at least 1" apart.
  • Bake cookies at 350 F for 12-14 minutes or until the edges of the cookies start to turn golden brown.
  • Move to a wire rack to cool.
