Ingredients
- 6 all beef hot dogs
- 6 hotdog bugs
- 1 medium white onion
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp salted butter
- 2 Tbsp tomato paste
- ¼ cup water
- ½ cup sauerkraut
- Spicy brown mustard
Instructions
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and cook until translucent.
- Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer for about 10 minutes until good and saucy.
- Boil the hotdogs until cooked.
- Serve beef dogs on a bun layered with sauerkraut, onion sauce and brown mustard.
