Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ½ diced yellow onion
  • ½ cup diced tri-colored peppers
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 16 oz uncooked pasta 3 cups
  • 2-8 oz cans of tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp parsley flakes
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups mild cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • 1. In a large skillet, brown the ground meat and chopped onion.
    2. Once browned, drain off any excess fat. Add in the minced garlic.
  • 3. Add salt, pepper, paprika, and parsley.
  • 4. Stir to mix, then add beef broth, tomato sauce, milk, and the pasta.
  • 5. Bring everything to a boil and turn the heat down to a simmer.
  • 6. Cover with a lid and cook for 12-15 mins.
  • 7. Stir occasionally to make sure the pasta doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan.
  • 8. Once pasta is cooked, add in the cheese and stir.
  • 9. Turn off the heat and cover to let the cheese melt.
