Ingredients

  • Large pack of Oreo cookie 36 cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 12 oz orange chocolate melts
  • Green M&Ms
  • Pretzel pieces

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place oreos in a stand mixer with paddle attachment.
  • Mix at low speed until all of the oreos are crushed into a fine oreo crumble.
  • Add cream cheese to the mixing bowl.
  • Mix on medium speed until a soft dough forms.
  • Cover the dough in plastic wrap and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  • Remove the dough from the fridge and roll into tablespoon sized balls.
  • Place the balls in the freezer for 1 hour to chill.
  • Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 15 to 30 second intervals, checking and stirring each time so that the chocolate doesn't burn.
  • Remove the cake balls from the fridge and dip them in the melted chocolate.
  • Place cake balls on the prepared baking sheet and immediately top with an M&M and ¼” piece of pretzel.
  • Place the chocolate balls in the fridge and allow them to harden completely before serving.

Notes

  • Use Wilton candy melts for best results, as the wafer chocolate melts the best. Add one teaspoon of coconut oil to other melted chocolate chips to help them melt and pour better.
  • If you can't find orange candy melts, you can use gel food coloring and white chocolate chips or white candy melts instead.
  • Lay the chocolate-covered treat on a parchment-lined baking sheet for easy moving and transporting before the chocolate has hardened.
  • Mix in a dash of pumpkin pie spice to the dough and add cake pop sticks to make pumpkin spice cake pops!
  • If you find the batter to be a bit too sweet, try adding a pinch of salt.
