Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries finely diced
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 6 oz dark chocolate chips
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup optional
  • Sea Salt optional

Instructions

  • Wash and cut up the strawberries. Chop them into small pieces so they mix well into the yogurt.
  • In a medium bowl, combine strawberries and yogurt. Add maple syrup if desired and mix well.
  • Drop onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet by large spoonfuls. Make small clusters for easier dipping later.
  • Place into the freezer to set, about 30 minutes. This helps the clusters firm up before adding the chocolate coating.
  • Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 15 to 30-second intervals, checking and stirring each time so that the chocolate doesn’t burn.
  • Dip each cluster in melted chocolate and place on the lined baking sheet. Use a fork to allow excess chocolate to drip from the cluster.
  • Return to the freezer to allow the chocolate to set. Let them chill for at least 1-2 hours before enjoying!

Notes

  • A thick Greek yogurt helps the clusters hold their shape better.
  • Try different flavors. Swap out plain yogurt for vanilla yogurt or coconut yogurt for a fun twist.
  • A splash of vanilla extract, a drizzle of peanut butter, or a sprinkle of sea salt can take these to the next level.
  • If you don’t want to melt chocolate in the microwave, a double boiler is a great alternative.
  • Store in an airtight container. Keep your frozen yogurt clusters in a freezer-safe airtight container to prevent freezer burn.
  • Experiment with different fruit. While strawberries are classic, chopped mango, blueberries, or raspberries also make delicious clusters!
