Ingredients

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 ⅔ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 small 3.4 oz box chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F and line your cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar together.
  • Add vanilla and egg.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • Add the instant chocolate pudding mix to the wet ingredients and mix well.
  • Add remaining dry ingredients and mix again.
  • Mix in chocolate chips to form a cookie dough.
  • Use a cookie scoop to drop cookie dough balls onto the prepared cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the edges just start to turn golden brown.
  • Move to a wire rack to cool and, once fully cooled, store in an airtight container.
