- ¾ cup unsalted butter room temperature
- 1 cup granulated white sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 ⅔ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 small 3.4 oz box chocolate instant pudding mix
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350 F and line your cookie sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar together.
Add vanilla and egg.
Mix until well combined.
Add the instant chocolate pudding mix to the wet ingredients and mix well.
Add remaining dry ingredients and mix again.
Mix in chocolate chips to form a cookie dough.
Use a cookie scoop to drop cookie dough balls onto the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the edges just start to turn golden brown.
Move to a wire rack to cool and, once fully cooled, store in an airtight container.
