This easy recipe starts with a few simple ingredients from the grocery store.
- Chocolate almond bark โ The smooth base of your candy.
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips โ Add depth and balance the sweetness with a touch of dark chocolate flavor.
- Skor or Heath toffee bits โ These little golden nuggets bring the perfect crunchy texture and buttery taste.
- Pecan halves โ A must for turtle candies! Their nutty flavor adds a satisfying crunch and pairs perfectly with caramel.
- Soft caramels โ Melted into a dreamy, gooey topping.
- Milk โ Helps thin out the caramel for a silky-smooth drizzle.

Instructions
1. Add the chocolate almond bark, chocolate chips, and toffee bits to your crockpot.

2. Cover and cook on low for 1 hour, stirring halfway through.

3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

4. Drop spoonfuls of the chocolate-toffee mixture onto the prepared pan.

As for flavor….amazing. But what a mess! The caramel stays soft and I was super careful about the milk. I cannot make these again. You cannot store them except in a single layer. Taste great, though.
Sorry that the caramel didn’t work for you – thanks for the feedback!
