  • Add lime slices to the rim of the cocktail glass.
  • Use cocktail picks to skewer fresh cranberries.
  • Add a curl of orange peel to highlight the orange flavors.
  • Create a sugar rim on the glass by dipping it in water and then white sugar.
  • Add a cinnamon stick or star anise to the glass.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz cranberry juice
  • 2 oz orange juice
  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz cranberry simple syrup
  • 7up or Sprite
  • Ice cubes
  • Cranberry and rosemary, for garnish

Note: the homemade cranberry simple syrup really takes this cocktail to the next level however, store bought simple syrup would work as well.

Directions:

  1. Combine juice, tequila and simple syrup into a cocktail glass.
  2. Add 7UP and ice cubes to fill the glass.
  3. Garnish with frozen or fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary.
