Simply melt chocolate and peanut butter using the low heat provided by your crockpot.  Slow cooker candy is perfect for bringing to a holiday party or packing up in cellophane bags to give to friends and family.

My kids love the holidays more for the delicious holiday baking than anything else. They are always asking me when am I going to start creating their favorite treats?

Honestly, this crockpot candy is one of those recipes that you could make year-round, but don’t tell them that! The kids call them Christmas peanut butter cups because that’s kind of what they taste like.

Crockpot Christmas Candy Ingredients

Ingredients:

This easy recipe starts with a few simple ingredients from the grocery store.

  • Smooth peanut butter
  • Salted peanuts
  • Chocolate almond bark
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Holiday sprinkles

Instructions:

1. Add the chocolate bark, chocolate chips, peanut butter and peanuts to the crockpot.

2. Set to cook on low for 1 hour, stirring at the half an hour mark.

3. When the chocolate is completely melted, stir once again to coat the peanuts in chocolate.

4. Place muffin cup liners on a baking sheet.

5. Use the cookie scoop to drop the candy mixture into the liners.

6. Top candy clusters with festive sprinkles.

7. Move to the refrigerator to set for about an hour.

Alternate ingredients:

  • ​Use peanut butter chips instead of peanut butter, chunky peanut butter works great too!
  • White almond bark or white chocolate chips can easily replace the semi sweet chocolate.
  • Use crushed candy canes in the place of the Christmas sprinkles for a whole new flavour profile.
  • Why not add mini marshmallows, toffee bits, rice krispies or pretzel pieces?
  • Try changing up this easy candy by replacing the peanuts with different nuts like cashews, almonds or macadamia nuts.

  • 1 bag 270 g semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 Tbsp Holiday sprinkles
